Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I shall fear no evil: for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

You're on my mind often, Danny... even after all these years. I gave your family as much information as I could about our time together. I hope it was the right thing to do. It's what I would have wanted you to do for me. Brothers once, brothers forever.

I came across this website by accident ... or maybe it wasn't. My son is in Iraq right now. He is from the same "Cacti" unit based in Hawaii, and he is from Hawaii. I once was upset that he reenlisted ... I forgot to be proud that he is willing to give of himself for our freedom. I just wish that the rest of us are so grateful and proud. I am truly sorry for your loss, but I know that so many of our sons, husbands and fathers are there to keep us safe and "free". God Bless your family and your greatest sacrifice! I wish this war ends soon, before...
