I tried to find your family after the war, to see your child you never saw. But PTS got me and I couldn't do anything . Forgive me. I will never forget us walking down to the aircraft after breakfast, saying our "See you laters". You're flying high now, my friend, you spent your time in hell. 03 Jun 2007 I have not forgotten, I come and visit you a couple times a year and have ever since 1972. I trim the ground back from your marker so it does not hide you from view. Sometimes I bring a couple beers and sit for a couple hours just remembering all the good as well as the hard times we had. I still miss ya a lot. If there was any way for me to take your place I would. You will never be forgotten, old friend, never. Until we meet again sleep in peace.
