30 Jan 2006 My name is Barry Patrick Bidwell and I am Barry's nephew. I was named after Barry by my father, his brother Robert L Bidwell. Barry has always been a part of my life through stories and I've tried to live my life as well as I could to commemorate my namesake. 15 Jul 2006 Barry was a wonderful mentor to me while serving in VAH-123 at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. We had long talks and great laughs as well as several "great adventures" from going to a rock festival in Tenino WA to hitching to Blaine WA and back. There were some great times my friend, oh I wish you were here to share them again. Tears still come to my eyes when I think of you and the great friendship we shared.
