A good friend is truly a blessing from God.

Gary, you and I were best of friends. We trained together, we were deployed together, I only wish I were with you that fateful day to comfort you.

My son Gary Brewer is your namesake. Your memory will always remain in my heart, dear brother. My heart aches for your family who is missing you as we remember our loved ones lost on this 2007 Veterans Day.
