Eddie, you have always been dearly loved and sorely missed by your family and all whoever knew you. My daughters, now 12 and 13, know all about your wonderful life. I hope you welcomed my dad, your Uncle Tom, a fellow combat infantryman, into paradise 2 weeks ago, a week before your 59th birthday. Cousin Tom

You are still mourned, much loved, and always remembered by all who knew you. I was lucky enough to call you family. God rest you, especially on this sad day 37 years later.

From a cousin,
Tom

I've always remembered Ed and Pat. I met Ed in basic training at Fort Dix and we finished NCO School together. I met Pat and her sister in New Jersey. I came to his wake from the Army hospital where I was recovering, and his family had been told I was killed.

Ed always made me think that I must live a good life, because so many better men gave theirs to help me be free.
