Larry A Brown was killed in action on November 27, 1969 near Camp Holloway, Pleiku, RVN. He was posthumously awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. Sgt Brown served with the 361st Aviation Co (Escort), from 1968 until his death in 1969. A Note from The Virtual Wall

The 361st Aviation Company's official history for 1969 contains the following paragraph:

Sergeant Francis M. Monroe, Bellaire, Ohio, was killed in the 22 November ambush; Sergeant Brown was severely wounded and died on 27 November.
