MICHAEL LYNN CHRISTMAS grew up in Camden, South Carolina. He worked at CHRISTMAS GROCERY downtown, and was a very polite and kind young man.

Michael wanted to serve his country like so many young people, for his dad had served in the Army in World War II.

His untimely death was hard to take for family and friends. He was liked by so many - and today he is honored by having a street called CHRISTMAS PLACE named in his honor; a brick in Memorial Park in Columbia, SC.; and his name on the state and national memorials to Vietnam.

He gave his life for his country; fought bravely; and set an example his family and friends can emulate today. You may be gone, dear Michael - but you are not forgotten.

The point-of-contact for this memorial is
a friend.
