A Note from The Virtual Wall

Warrant Officer Coffin died of wounds received while flying. Although The Virtual Wall is unable to identify the incident with absolute certainty, it probably was on 10 Nov 1970 when UH-1H tail number 68-15591 was hit by a B-40 rocket propelled grenade while landing in a hot zone. One crewman, believed to be WO Coffin, was wounded.
