"Mickey" and I were in high school together, and we would sit in library talking about the importance of our military. Mickey knew he wanted to be a Marine, that was his passion. I do believe men like Mickey were called as explained in Romans 12:18 thru Romans 13:5

He was the son of William J. Coomes in Madisonville, Kentucky, and was due to return from Vietnam in the first week of March, 1966. On 3 Feb. 1966, at the age of 24, William Michael Coomes gave the ultimate. He was killed in action in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.

I miss you, buddy.
