Dad ... I continue to miss you and think of you and all the troopers who gave their lives so we may continue to enjoy the freedoms we so easily take for granted.

Please continue to watch over our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines as we continue to fight those who clearly don't value life and freedom. Gary Owen!!!!! Your faithful son, Barry.

Dad...

Great tribute from the Rolling Thunder folks this weekend in D.C in honor of all the fallen hereos from current and past wars. Your ranks in Heaven are increasing in numbers with our fallen warriors who paid the ultimate sacrifice in our continued stuggle to keep our Nation free and ... please keep their families and friends in your prayers...

Forty-one years later and your loss is still felt by each of us. Somehow we go on, living our lives without you. Living with the sadness of a family forever changed. Are we proud? You bet! But... I would have much rather have had you as a Father instead of a hero, because in being my Father, you were already my hero. Happy Memorial Day Dad! We love and miss you... still-

Cowardice asks the question,
"Is it safe?"

Expedience asks the question,
"Is it politic?"

And Vanity comes along and asks the question,
"Is it popular?"

But Conscience asks the question,
"Is it right?"

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right.

Through three of our nation's most critical periods you answered the call. I salute you and I pray for your family, sir.

B. E. Warren
