A Note from The Virtual Wall

Four men from the Recon Platoon, HHC 1/5th Infantry, were killed on 04 May 1967 when their personnel carrier hit a mine during a two day sweep in the Ho Bo Woods:

  • PFC John S. Cartwright, Pine Hill, NJ
  • PFC Ralph W. Crytzer, North Jackson, OH
