Earl,
You were one of us - we all went to school together in Montrose, Pennsylvania.

Recently there was a 40th reunion, not all were able to be there, you were one of those.

We all just want you to know that we are proud of you and the sacrifice you gave for our country. We will never forget you.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

According to the 2/4 Marines' Command Chronology Golf Company 2/4 had one man killed and two wounded by a booby trap at 1620, 01 March. Another man was severely wounded by a booby trap 45 minutes later. Although all four had been medevaced by 1815, two deaths resulted: Cpl Earl L. Crissell and Pfc Dale V. Bremerman of Naples, Florida.
