Six Americans were killed in a series of engagements in the vicinity of Tan Phong, 10 kilometers west-northwest of Duc Pho, between 27-29 May 1967:
  • B Co, 2nd Bn, 35th Infantry
  • C Troop, 3rd Sqdn, 4th Cavalry
    • CPT Ronald W. Penn, Cucamonga, CA

  • B Troop, 1st Sqdn, 9th Cavalry
    • SP4 Dennis J. Keenan, Rochester, NY
