A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 31 July 1970 a patrol from 3rd Platoon, Kilo 3/7 detonated a daisy-chain mine about 3 kilometers southwest of Que Son. The chain was set parallel to the patrol's direction of travel and killed 3 men while wounding 11 others. The dead were
  • Pfc James K. Musselman, Fort Wayne, IN;
  • Pfc Gregg A. Smith, Great Valley, NY; and
  • Pvt James M. Doty, Parkersburg, WV.
