A Note from The Virtual Wall Staff Sergeant Eaton was assigned to the Psychological Warfare Section, TF-1AE, Command & Control North, at the time of his death. By report, he was killed in action with Recon Team "North Carolina" about 7km west-southwest of Ta Ko.
