We went to Viet Nam together, flew to Khe Sanh Combat Base, he went to Hotel Co. 2nd Battalion 1st Marines. He was shot helping a wounded Marine while engaging a large NVA force around Hill 471 on Route 9 by Khe Sanh Ville, he was only in country 20 days. Chester was a good friend of mine.

Chester is remembered by his brothers from
Hotel 2/1 Marines
