On 19 May 1967 A Company, 5/7th Cavalry, lost seven men in an engagement in Quang Ngai Province:
  • SSG Bobby V. Hayslip, Cordele, GA;
  • SGT John T. Fulford, Fernandina Beach, FL;
  • SP4 Anton T. Bornstein, Bellingham, WA (Silver Star);
  • SP4 Guy E. McNay, Erlanger, KY;
  • SP4 Albert J. Patrillo, Susquehanna, PA;
  • PFC James W. Eldridge, Nickerson, KS; and
  • PFC Juan A. Gonzalez, Uvalde, TX.
Regretably, The Virtual Wall cannot determine the location or other circumstances of the engagement.
