I have looked at your grave for 32 years
And I've always wondered if you had any fears.
Sometimes I ask myself, what could have gone wrong
That day you perished fighting the Cong.
The years have rolled by and sometimes I'm sad
I always pray for you, along with my Dad.
Your life had ended in such terrible haste
But your soul must know, it was not a waste
It seems you don't have visitors to tend to your plot
But don't worry, young Barry, I will tend to your spot.

When my grandfather was buried near you, my father pointed out your grave to me when I was just a young boy. That was in 1970, and of course I didn't realize at the time that my father would someday be your neighbor too. I visit him regularly and I always bring 2 flags, one for him and one for you. RIP dude.

A memorial from a patriot,
