Robert
As long as I'm alive you will never be forgotten. I still can see your happy face every day of my life. It's been 40 years since I've seen you alive but it only seems like yesterday. I'm still waiting for you to take me to Stockton, CA, to go out with your sister you were going to fix me up with. We would go on liberty or to the EM Club and get our rum and Cokes ... we both loved trying to pick up some girls. But it's been 40 years since I drank a rum and Coke but I've made up for it with everything else to ease the pain which hasn't happened. I miss your friendship so much and can't wait until the day God lets us reunite. Until then, buddy, Semper Fi!

Your best friend,
Sgt. Bobby S. Cook
