Robert was wounded two other previous times while serving in Vietnam.

Bob was a very brave and honorable man. he was a devoted son and a wonderful brother. Although we were 8 years apart, he always kept me involved with activities and set a great example for a younger brother.

His dedication to enlist in the Army and his loyalty to his men was what his life was all about. He strove to do well and take care of other people, thus the reason for going back to Viet Nam twice after being wounded.

Like many other soldiers, his death left a void in his family, and the family was never the same again. Over the past 36 years everyone in his family has passed on, except for me and my children. His memory and his honor will forever live on through us and the people he touched. WE MISS YOU BROTHER!!!
