You were my best friend in Vietnam. I think of you often, and all the times you got me out of trouble. Forgive me for not saying "Goodbye" to you that awful morning. I know I will see you again some day.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

Although Specialist 5 Donald Hansen was assigned to HHC, 4/9 Infantry, he was attached to the battalion's D Company and served with them. His commanding officer, Rich Parris, remembers SP5 Hansen's service and the circumstances of his death in a memorial on the

9th Infantry site
