Dale Hudson: I miss you. I think of you quite often, especially when I see the Wall, when I see the movie We Were Soldiers, and when we have our reunion. You took the bullet that could have been mine. In a way you are lucky - you quit the fight that day - I have had to fight over and over in my nightmares for 35 years.

Dale Francis Hudson is my father.

If I were able to have one thing in my life it would be to speak to the man I never knew. To know the man he was and to have the knowledge of the man he could have been. To be able to say "I love you, Dad".

In my heart always. Cindy

What a great honor to have served with Dale. A true soldier at heart, always watching for the other guy. Miss you and think of you often especially when visiting "The Wall" and at reunions.
