Robert Elee Jackson

Robert "Bobby" Jackson was my best friend from childhood on. We lived in Paramount, California. Being in the The Marine Corps was his life. He joined at 18 and I was always impressed with his dedication and committment to the Corp. I still think about him all the time and, to this day, still can't believe he's gone. I served in Vietnam myself at the age of 18 but was fortunate enough to come back. Bobby was not so fortunate but he loved the Marines. He'd say "Once a Marine always a Marine". Even after all these years he's been gone, I'd bet he's still saying the same thing.
