A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 04 May 1966 Company A, 1st Engineer Bn, lost two men to a mine - Captain Charles R. Kesterson, the Company Commander, and SP4 Russell L. Hamilton of Rodney, Ohio. Captain Kesterson received a posthumous promotion to Major.
