John Alan Kuefner is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 19W Line 040.
I met John in high school in 1964 during homeroom at East High School and have considered him a "Best Friend" ever since. I was thoroughly numbed and totally saddened to learn of his death back in 1969 in Vietnam. Because our birthdays were close, we shared a special time. We had a lot of fun times in the 5 years we knew each other and I really miss his good nature, crazy sense of humor and total friendship.
God rest his soul and God bless him for his ultimate sacrifice for our country in that Asian war.
You will always be missed and loved by those who knew you.
