A Note from The Virtual Wall
Sergeant Lee began his tour in Vietnam in February 1967 with the Weapons Platoon, A Company, 2/502nd Infantry. As he neared the end of his tour, he extended in exchange for a transfer to the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol unit, E Company, 20th Infantry. He was shot by a sniper while walking point.
