My name is Larry Capps from Atoka, Oklahoma. I served in Vietnam as well. When your uncle was killed they notified me to identify his body and escort his body home. I knew all of the family and later met with them.

I went all the way through school with him and when we were both drafted to Vietnam I was not even aware that Benny was over there. He was a very good and dear friend and I miss him very much.

In September 2000 my wife and I went to Washington DC and went to the Wall and got his name off of the Wall. That was a life dream to go and see the Wall, that was a trip that will never be forgotten.

From a friend,
