04 Dec 2006 Donnie, I miss you more than you will ever know. Every time there is a new war and so many men and women have died I feel the pain for the families. I wish I could have met someone that shared time with you just to talk and ask some questions. I wrote something for you, and for all soldiers and their families. Growing Away Twenty years gone, soft cuddly baby never to be again. Long golden curls softly brushed upon my chin. Oh, how the simple gifts of nature made you laugh. Funny little girl or boy who would give away his only toy. As you grew, seems all you ever knew, was to give more love than you would ever receive. A broken heart, no! You were not through. Your father being the Lord, would help you climb that highest cord. Physical endurance you began to train, whether it be snow or rain. Still you decided to give your life and love to share, to your country and people you know that care. You rise when the earth sleeps and continue to go. Your family now is very large. I know you help them, even when in camouflage. Special born you truly are, though I know your heart carries a scar. It does not matter whether you are short or tall, when it comes to limits you just seem to endure all. They say you're to be mean and feel the pains of the mightiest sting. The love you give no cup can measure, for you are a soldier always we will treasure. I love and miss you, your sister Jeannie. 27 Jul 2007 I'm Jeannie, Donald Carl Lynch's sister. If anyone out there ever knew my brother and is still alive please write me if you have time. God Bless all the service men and women and keep them safe.
