After almost 38 years of wondering and searching, we received the call we've been waiting for. One of the men who was with my dad, Captain James Alan Laird, when he died called me today to tell me what happened. I can't express my gratitude enough to this dear man who has answered so many of our questions and clarified the misinformation we received from the Army.
