I'm on the left, Gary's on the right

To a buddy I miss, a soldier I respect, and the crazy things we did.

Like on that fire base when we were singing that Beatle song
"HELP I NEED SOMEBODY!"
And that time we had in Dak-to, we all got drunk and everyone in
the tent was singing to the group the Animals
"WE GOT TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE!"
that was on the radio and how about that song by the Box Tops,
"MY BABY WROTE ME A LETTER"

That was some good times we had.
Whenever I do talk about Nam,
you and the rest of the brave men are what I always brag
about. I'll never forget you guys.

Hope to regroup on the other side some day!
