A Note from The Virtual Wall

Two men from A Company, 1/77th Armor, died when their tank struck a mine 3 kilometers southwest of Con Thien (Hill 158) on 20 June 1971: SFC Elbert Marcantel, tank commander, and SP4 John E. Leis, driver, of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
