Private First Class Thomas Monk gave all on that fateful day of 24 February 1967. PFC Monk was killed in action, by sniper fire, while walking point for the 2nd Platoon.

PFC Monk was an outstanding Soldier. He will never be forgotten and is sadly missed by me.
