Billy,

When you were home on leave you told me you would not come home again, somehow you knew and I could see the fear in your eyes, only to tell you, you were wrong, how I wish you would have been, I love you and miss you more than you will ever know, I know we will see each other again, and it will be a wonderful day. As I read the last letter you wrote me, my heart is heavy with sorrow, I wish that you were here, love and miss you.

Peggy
