Mike was a lover, not a fighter, and a friend to everyone he ever met. Mike went to Viet Nam because he loved his country and the men in his platoon. He couldn't let them down. He is missed every day by his family and friends who will never forget his smile, humor, love of life and joy in living. We learn from his example.

From his sister.

I wasn't even born then,
but I love you.
