You are my Uncle, my Mom's little brother. You are missed beyond words. What happened that awful day in November, 1968? You were only three days shy of being done with your tour. The phone call, the telegram that Mom received, the tears that Grandma refused to show at your funeral. Your children, your wife, were so lost without you. We are all adults now, with our own families and yet, our children will never hear their Uncle Dave's voice, know the sound of his laughter or know the love that you were capable of giving. We miss you, especially Mom.

From his niece,
Melissa Beckmann Frohrip
