Timothy Mark Nafe is my grandfather. He was such a great person, he could have been. Instead he was killed because he was fighting not just for his love of Christ within but for all of us living with freedom.

Rest in Peace, Grandpa!

From his grandson,
Brian Mark Long Jr.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 19 January 1968 B Company, 3/12 Infantry, was engaged about 10 kilometers west of Dak To, losing six men:
  • SFC William D. Johnson, Rocky Mount, NC (MIA)
  • SP4 Paul W. Robinson, Tupelo, MS
  • PFC William E. Brunn, Wilkes-Barre, PA
  • PFC Dennis E. Fuller, Santa Fe Springs, CA
  • PFC Johnny W. Lindsey, Fredonia, KY
  • PFC Franklin E. Sollars, Williamsport, OH
While The Virtual Wall cannot prove it to be so, it seems likely that SP4 Nafe was a Forward Observer team member with Bravo 3/12 and was killed in the Dak To engagement.
