A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 19 Dec 1967 two men from Delta Company, 3rd Recon Battalion, were wounded in a "friendly fire" incident in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam. One died that day, the other on Christmas Day:
  • Cpl Rodney L. Huddleson, Milford, OH (12/19/1967)
  • LCpl Kenneth F. Olenzuk, Detroit, MI (12/25/1967)
Eight months later, PFC Paul Olenzuk was killed in action in Thua Thien Province.
