The 2nd Bn, 35th Infantry lost two men on 08 March 1970 in actions about 20 kilometers northwest of FSB Challenge: 1LT John R. Penman, Columbus, GA (B Company) and SGT Joseph J. Postiglione, Utica, NY (D Company).
