(Thomas Campbell, circa 1888)   I wish to thank the following men, who were stationed with my brother Jack in Vietnam during the first half of 1969... Darrell Jaggers (WO1, a fellow Chinook pilot) He drove from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Cedar Springs, Michigan, twice to talk with us about Jack. He also provided me with a copy of an album made at their base in Vietnam. It contained 6 or 7 photos of my brother, Jack. We keep in touch by email. Tim Staats (SP4, Gunner) He contacted me after seeing my memorial to Jack on another web site. He has sent me a copy of the actual 'accident' report which included 5 or 6 eyewitness accounts of the accident. He also sent me many photos of the base and the accident scene, which I requested. We keep in touch by email. John Olsen (CW3, a fellow Chinook pilot) Supplies me with serious articles and some jokes. We keep in touch by email. Rick Patton (SP5) Related his remembrance of Jack's 'accident'. I am deeply indebted to these men for helping me honor my brother.
