27 Jan 2007 I served with Ron Stateside. We made a Med Cruise together and were the best of friends. I made it to Loraine to meet his family once but ended up getting back to Lejeune 3 days late. He was a self-taught drummer and I heard him play "Wipeout" in Naples, Italy. Ron was proud to be a Marine and I was proud to have known him. I found out about Ron while I was on R&R at China Beach. I was devastated. He was a good friend and I still miss him. His cousin and I made a trip to the Wall a few years back. Hardest thing I ever did. Semper Fi my Brother, You are remembered!
