"MY ANGEL"

He is now an Angel, Watching from above.
Guiding me through life with his eternal love.
I will always remember the happiness we shared.
I believe with all my heart he is still here.
Just inside my heart to comfort and cheer.
He now waits for me to join him there.
And by God's grace, in God's own time
I will join him there.
He once was a child; then too soon he was grown.
Then he was called to serve America,
Then in a flash he was gone.
He stood tall with pride when he left
for Vietnam.
But he knew he might not make it back home.
Still he wanted to go to serve this great country.
He will live forever in my heart
With joy, peace, and love.
Until we meet again in that home above,
I still miss him every day -
I sure do love you, brother.

Nelle

He has gone home to eternal peace.
He will feel no more pain,
No more fear or disapointment.
He will be loved forever.
