I do not fear an army of lions,
if they are led by a lamb.
I do fear an army of sheep,
if they are led by a lion.

Jack, we were old friends from Collinwood High School. I remember the many times we went roller skating at the Rollerdrome in Euclid, you were teaching me to dance on skates, what a great memory for me. We were school friends who wrote notes to one another in study hall, sometimes we would get caught, no harm done, they were always just nonsense.

My grandson went to Washington D.C. last week and got a rubbing for me from the Wall. I will treasure this forever. Here we are so many years later and I still think of you so often. Our friendship was just that, a wonderful friendship, and I miss you so much.

I will go to the cemetery on your birthday 5/22. Hey guy, we'll be 60 this year. You probably knew that I was at your funeral, I was the one with the 6 week old baby boy. I married in 1966, it lasted 36 years ... I'm single now.

You will always have a special place in my heart, Jack. I will never forget you. There was a special kind of love tucked away, just for you.
