David L. Scott was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all he knew. He is greatly missed by all. He is survived now by two brothers, Leroy and Victor; two sisters, Barbara and Eva; and tons of nieces and nephews, some who had the pleasure of meeting him and some who never got to. His parents, Leroy Sr. and Frances are deceased, as are two sisters, Doris and Virginia.

A memorial from his niece,

For he was a man of Honor,
For he was a man of faith,
He gave his life for his country,
He is a man.
