18 Nov 2001 This a memorial to my father who died when I was 16 months old. I didn't get to know him, and I am trying to find any of his buddies that might have served with him, and could tell me more about the person that he was. His tour of duty began on June 7, 1968, and he died July 18, 1968, in Binh Thuy, South Vietnam. He was in Company D, 1st Squadron, 11th ACR. I believe his commanding officer was Captain Garald R. 11 Mar 2004 I want to say what a good man Allen was - you see, I was his wife. We had a daughter. She never got to kmow him, but I know he was very proud of her. I only wish that she could have known him. He went off to war wanting to come home as did all the guys that lost their lives there.
