Gary, I never knew you because I was born 15 years after your death, but I have the same last name as you which means we are family members somewhere in our ancestry. I want to find out about your life; who your family is and if I'm closely related to them. I am Mark Mondeane Stanfield, son of Lieutenant Colonel Cyril Chase Stanfield III, United States Air Force and grandson of Cyril Chase Stanfield, II, a WWII United States Army Air Force veteran. Both my father and grandfather were from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

With this memorial, I want to thank you for your service to this country. Even though I was born almost two decades after your passing, know that there are people in my generation and people to come in future generations that will NEVER forget the duty you performed for America. We will always honor you and your fellow countrymen.

"On thy grave the rain shall fall from the eyes of a mighty nation"
- Thomas William Parsons -

From a family relation,
Mark Mondeane Stanfield
