Specialist Four Floyd Abner Schliewe was killed while a passsenger on a military vehicle when the vehicle became involved in an accident and overturned.

SP4 Schliewe was born to Alma E Giese (1914-2008) and Edwin T Schliewe (1917-1991). At the time of his death he was survived by his parents, and a sister Marcia A. (1953-2011).

SP4 Schliewe was laid to rest in the same cemetery as his family is today, Saint Peters Cemetery, Lebanon, Dodge County Wisconsin.
