01 Feb 2008 John, it is your anniversary today, the beganing of the Tet Offensive. Hell broke loose and we lost you that night. I have never forgotten you, and your couragous sacrifice for our country did not go in vain. You will always be a hero to our free nation. There has never been a greater sacrifice for the ideals of freedom. God only knows why some of us made it home and others did not. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 01-02 Feb 1968 elements of the 1st Infantry Division fought a bitter engagement around An My, about 4 kilometers northwest of the Phu Loi airfield.
