Jon,

Tuesday will be 40 years and yet it seems like yesterday when we received word that you were gone.

I remember all the good times we had growing up and the trouble we'd get into and I remember how proud mom and dad were of you when you joined the Army (what else would an Army brat do?). I often think of the day dad told me that you had been given orders to go to Vietnam the first time and I think of the day you came home and how mom was afraid to get out of bed when I yelled your name.

Well, Bud, I guess I'd better sign off, still miss you as much today as I have every day for the last 40 years.
