Paul Ward is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 08W Line 132.

Paul died while flying as the Crew Chief on an OH-58A (tail number 69-16089). A .51 caliber machine gun opened fire from a position 3000 meters west of what was known as "The Rock Pile". The observer, Bobby Dunaway, also was killed. It appears that the pilot of the aircraft survived, but his name is unknown at this time. I would like to hear from anyone who knew Bobby or Paul.
