USAF F-4 on a rocket-firing run

Thanks, DAD, for the sacrifice you made for so many. I am grateful to you and every other person named on this memorial for what you did. If it weren't for men and women that knew the value of freedom, none of us would be truly free today.

Though my life is different today than it would have been if I had you around, I have been shown that trust in an earthly father is not as eternal as trust in a heavenly father that loves me more than any man could and yet will one day let us be together in His kingdom that will never fall or decline. Strangely, though I've never met another person that lost their dad in Vietnam, I can't help but look at this wonderful memorial with its 58,000+ names and continually think, "There are way too many names up there". Too many people affected and changed forever to let this be just a memory. To any who might read this and wonder where the comfort is in this life...... it is found in knowing the creator and trusting in THE savior, Jesus.

Thanks again, DAD.
I love you.
